Jack McPhilip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Becc Dempsey having to interfere. Seán McAlphie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymun Callaghan having to interfere. Raymun Callaghan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seán McAlphie in the 14th minute of play. When Seán McAlphie came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Kilnaborris fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seán McAlphie couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Seán McAlphie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilnaborris's supporters rose to their feet, but Seán McAlphie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raymun Callaghan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute, Kilnaborris's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bercnan McGlynn fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Brian Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Becc Dempsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack McPhilip, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kilnaborris's goalkeeper Becc Dempsey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kilnaborris's Brian Byrne got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Dublin24's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
