The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, Corndarragh AFC's goalkeeper Dolan McLaughlin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blaithmeic Hutton. Dolan McLaughlin came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by LandCracker FC's Blaithmeic Hutton. But to his dismay, Blaithmeic Hutton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, LandCracker FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patty Martyn came free, but Terrence Todd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 18 in the game by Blaithmeic Hutton from a close distance when the talented Dolan McLaughlin managed to make a qualified save. Corndarragh AFC's players were relieved. Blaithmeic Hutton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dolan McLaughlin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After 24 played minutes LandCracker FC got a freekick which was hit by Teris Branson. In the 27th minute, Gordon McVictor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When LandCracker FC's Blaithmeic Hutton in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Corndarragh AFC's goalie prevented a goal. 30 minutes into the match, Corndarragh AFC's goalkeeper Dolan McLaughlin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blaithmeic Hutton. Corndarragh AFC's Dolan McLaughlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Corndarragh AFC from getting a goal against them. Terrence Todd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coinneach Beckett in the 33rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Corndarragh AFC's Dolan McLaughlin got control of the ball when Brennon John tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute, Berach Hughes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brennon John, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blaithmeic Hutton was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Blaithmeic Hutton managed to get in a good position for a shot. LandCracker FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Blaithmeic Hutton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dolan McLaughlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dolan McLaughlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blaithmeic Hutton in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blaithmeic Hutton in the 58th minute of play forced Corndarragh AFC's goalkeeper Dolan McLaughlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gordon McVictor came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Corndarragh AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gordon McVictor couldn't finish the play. After 65 minutes of play, LandCracker FC's Blaithmeic Hutton made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dolan McLaughlin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 74 played minutes Corndarragh AFC got a freekick which was hit by Patty Martyn. After a rather tough play, LandCracker FC's Felim Murphy got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute Patty Martyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terrence Todd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dolan McLaughlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blaithmeic Hutton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LandCracker FC's Terrence Todd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patty Martyn in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Corndarragh AFC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Coinneach Beckett hit a great ball. Bardan McNamara struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Terrence Todd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corndarragh AFC. Terrence Todd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patty Martyn in the 95th minute of play. Dolan McLaughlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blaithmeic Hutton, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Corndarragh AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
