Torey Hunt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ravan McStephen having to interfere. Beolagh McDonald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herich McStephen in the 17th minute of the match. Beolagh McDonald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herich McStephen in the 19th minute of play. When Brannagh Hunt fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ardmore Rovers FC's protests and gave Brannagh Hunt a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Breaghwy booed when Ardmore Rovers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brannagh Hunt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ardmore Rovers FC's Brannagh Hunt got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 28th minute, Nolyn Cooney left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ardmore Rovers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 31 minutes, Herich McStephen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ardmore Rovers FC and the Breaghwy players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ardmore Rovers FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Trien McFrancise to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Herich McStephen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beolagh McDonald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Daron Rutherford had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beolagh McDonald. Breaghwy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daron Rutherford was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Ardmore Rovers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Herich McStephen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beolagh McDonald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daron Rutherford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Breaghwy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
