Baiste Murphy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Breaghwy. Theodore Willson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baiste Murphy. Drimmeen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Baiste Murphy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trien McFrancise in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the match, Trien McFrancise tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Baiste Murphy saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Breaghwy's Trien McFrancise in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Drimmeen's protests and gave Patty Glen Crowe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, one of Drimmeen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Drimmeen. Baiste Murphy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torey Hunt went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Breaghwy's zone, Baydan McNamee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beolagh McDonald came out of the goal and Baydan McNamee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beolagh McDonald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keegan Mullan in the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Trien McFrancise stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Breaghwy got a freekick which was hit by Abbot McVictor. A collision led to Drimmeen getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Breffni Dunne hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trien McFrancise in the 56th minute of play forced Drimmeen's goalkeeper Baiste Murphy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Drimmeen fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Drimmeen's Keegan Mullan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Baiste Murphy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torey Hunt in the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Drimmeen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Theodore Willson was slow to take the kick. During this time Breaghwy's players had a chance to rest. Baiste Murphy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blamhac McTommy in the 65th minute of the match. Art McDecland kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bradner Mullan got free with Beolagh McDonald in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes into the game, Drimmeen's Keegan Mullan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beolagh McDonald made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Beolagh McDonald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baydan McNamee, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Breaghwy's goalkeeper Beolagh McDonald had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Keegan Mullan. Keegan Mullan scored 2-4 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beolagh McDonald, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Keegan Mullan took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beolagh McDonald. Beolagh McDonald dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. The Drimmeen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
