The supporters of glory fc booed when Dunquin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adamnan Crowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland McNamara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gavin Tracy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavin Tracy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland McNamara in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Dunquin's Rian Byrne got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 33 played minutes Dunquin got a freekick which was hit by Brett Ryan. Dunquin's Gavin Tracy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Deans in the 34th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Caoilte Scully fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavin Tracy having to interfere. Robin Deans scored 0-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavin Tracy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Roland McNamara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gavin Tracy. That made the score 0-2 in the 64 minute of play. Dunquin's Gavin Tracy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caoilte Scully in the 69th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Bragain Callaghan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavin Tracy acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 71st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rowland McDonald. The Dunquin fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. glory fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
