A collision led to Dunquin getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Bragain Callaghan hit a great ball. Daron Rutherford could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Gavin Tracy made a huge save. Dunquin's Gavin Tracy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Dunquin from getting a goal against them. Pauric Moran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Gavin Tracy made a huge save. Brannagh Hunt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gavin Tracy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herich McStephen in the 21st minute of play. Gavin Tracy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brannagh Hunt, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pauric Moran in the 25th minute of play forced Dunquin's goalkeeper Gavin Tracy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ravan McStephen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conor Rogers went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 34 minutes into the match, Dunquin's goal looked a bit too open when Herich McStephen came free, but Gavin Tracy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pauric Moran during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Ardmore Rovers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pauric Moran to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Dunquin's Gavin Tracy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daron Rutherford in the 52nd minute of play. Gavin Tracy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pauric Moran's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Herich McStephen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gavin Tracy. Dunquin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herich McStephen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 71st minute, Brannagh Hunt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavin Tracy was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Conor Rogers got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 83rd minute, Bar McPhil reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ravan McStephen. The goal made the score 3-3. Conor Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 92 minutes into the match, Brannagh Hunt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gavin Tracy. Dunquin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brannagh Hunt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. When the referee ended the match the Ardmore Rovers FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
