Boethis Rogers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricard MaCollin in the 32nd minute of play. Kyle Cassin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boethis Rogers having to interfere. Treno McWillie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blar McLaughlin having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Treno McWillie to strike the kick off in the second half. Blar McLaughlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Treno McWillie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th match minute, Kylegarve was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brendon Lavine to maneuver through the defense. Treno McWillie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Blar McLaughlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kyle Cassin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boethis Rogers was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Boethis Rogers was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Kyle Cassin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kyle Cassin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. When the final whistle sounded Kylegarve left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Glengort AFC.
