If Harvey Morrison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brazil McOliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Carrigaline Utd's Mack McMichel got control of the ball when Harvey Morrison tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Carrigaline Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Todd McGlenn to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harvey Morrison got free with Mack McMichel in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brazil McOliver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brazil McOliver blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mack McMichel having to make a save. In the 36th minute, Shey Ryan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brazil McOliver's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mack McMichel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Brazil McOliver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brazil McOliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brazil McOliver made a kick off. When Harvey Morrison came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Maurs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harvey Morrison couldn't finish the play. Brazil McOliver struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Mack McMichel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maurs. Mack McMichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brazil McOliver in the 63rd minute of play. Shey Ryan charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shey Ryan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th match minute, Carrigaline Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierson Prunty to maneuver through the defense. Mack McMichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brazil McOliver in the 71st minute of play. Harvey Morrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mack McMichel having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Carrigaline Utd's zone, Brazil McOliver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mack McMichel came out of the goal and Brazil McOliver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carrigaline Utd's Mack McMichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harvey Morrison in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Carrigaline Utd's Pierson Prunty dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Mack McMichel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harvey Morrison's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Carrigaline Utd's Mack McMichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brazil McOliver in the 92nd minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Brazil McOliver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maurs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brazil McOliver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Although Maurs had been in control for most of the match, Carrigaline Utd still came away with the win.
