Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Blayne Ryan took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Blayne Ryan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Barram McIan to make any attempt to save it. Cherrywood Celtic FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Blayne Ryan scored to the left of an out of position Barram McIan, making the score, 2-0. In the 14th minute, Bec Hamilton reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Barram McIan. The goal made the score 3-0. If Blaine Hughes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blaine Hughes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Barram McIan made a huge save. In the 27th minute Blayne Ryan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barram McIan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Rahtnnane getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Fachtna Caffrey hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Blaine Hughes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rahtnnane's supporters rose to their feet, but Blaine Hughes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barram McIan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute of the match Brenda Horgan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barram McIan skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Cherrywood Celtic FC booed when Rahtnnane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brenda Horgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Cherrywood Celtic FC's Beagan Kelly broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

Brannon McGlynn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giles Coyle in the 61st minute of play. Blaine Hughes scored 4-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Barram McIan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barram McIan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blayne Ryan in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giles Coyle in the 70th minute of play forced Rahtnnane's goalkeeper Brannon McGlynn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Blaine Hughes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barram McIan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Giles Coyle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brannon McGlynn was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Brenda Horgan hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Giles Coyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brannon McGlynn having to interfere. Blavock McSteven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brannon McGlynn was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Giles Coyle capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Giles Coyle really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Giles Coyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brannon McGlynn having to interfere. Barram McIan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blayne Ryan, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rahtnnane had won after a very even match.
