After 2 played minutes FC BlackDragon got a freekick which was hit by Gearroid Morrison. FC BlackDragon's Kain Ryan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save FC BlackDragon from getting a goal against them. Kain Ryan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Treno McWillie in the 8th minute of the match. Tevis Todd's late challenge caught a Glengort AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tevis Todd helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Glengort AFC booed when FC BlackDragon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tevis Todd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Kain Ryan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 14th minute, Barnaby Grant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute of the match, Treno McWillie tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kain Ryan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Treno McWillie in the 21st minute of play forced FC BlackDragon's goalkeeper Kain Ryan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Brion Callaghan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás McPeter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boethis Rogers having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Glengort AFC got a freekick which was hit by Torrian McDecland. When Tomás McPeter came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FC BlackDragon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás McPeter couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torrian McDecland got free with Kain Ryan in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Glengort AFC's Barnaby Grant got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás McPeter made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Glengort AFC's Barnaby Grant sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kain Ryan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th play minute Brion Callaghan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Boethis Rogers. 0-1. Treno McWillie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute of the match Brecc McDonald shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kain Ryan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Barnaby Grant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kain Ryan having to interfere. Brion Callaghan charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brion Callaghan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kain Ryan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Treno McWillie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Glengort AFC booed when FC BlackDragon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymun Matthews didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barnaby Grant's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kain Ryan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After 79 minutes, Barnaby Grant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glengort AFC and the FC BlackDragon players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st minute, Treno McWillie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Riddock Jameson kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Barnaby Grant came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Glengort AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barnaby Grant couldn't finish the play. Barnaby Grant struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Kain Ryan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glengort AFC. Glengort AFC's Treno McWillie got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC BlackDragon walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
