Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rahtnnane's Blayne Ryan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Brannon McGlynn made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Torna McJon sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Rahtnnane booed when Kylegarve was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brendon Lavine didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Blaine Hughes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Kyle Cassin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Kylegarve's goal looked a bit too open when Blayne Ryan came free, but Blar McLaughlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blaine Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blaine Hughes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kylegarve's Blar McLaughlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blayne Ryan in the 24th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Kyle Cassin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brannon McGlynn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Ricard MaCollin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Brannon McGlynn, passed just outside the right post. Blayne Ryan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Kyle Cassin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Brannon McGlynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brannon McGlynn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Cassin, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th match minute, Rahtnnane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iarla Hutton to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute of the match Barram McOliver sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brannon McGlynn skillfully saved the ball. In the 68th minute, Blaine Hughes made a precise shot to the right of Blar McLaughlin. Kylegarve's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Kyle Cassin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brannon McGlynn having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brendon Lavine during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kylegarve getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Brendon Lavine hit a great ball. Blayne Ryan struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Blar McLaughlin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rahtnnane. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kylegarve's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Brenda Horgan was slow to take the kick. During this time Rahtnnane's players had a chance to rest. Rahtnnane's Brenda Horgan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Blar McLaughlin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 88th minute Blayne Ryan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blar McLaughlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Rahtnnane players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Kylegarve from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
