Carrigaline Utd's Mack McMichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinton Perth in the 2nd minute of play. Becan Mulvihill did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Mack McMichel 6 minutes into the match. Becan Mulvihill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 17 in the game by Treno Frankson from a close distance when the talented Mack McMichel managed to make a qualified save. Carrigaline Utd's players were relieved. Mack McMichel stood somewhat misplaced when Becan Mulvihill came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. With a little luck, Carrigaline Utd's Mack McMichel got control of the ball when Treno Frankson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Becan Mulvihill struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Mack McMichel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for REAPERS. Treno Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mack McMichel having to interfere. Becan Mulvihill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carrigaline Utd's goalkeeper Mack McMichel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Becan Mulvihill to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Carrigaline Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Becan Mulvihill came free, but Mack McMichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mack McMichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Treno Frankson in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Carrigaline Utd's Shey Ryan got a free kick in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Becan Mulvihill managed to get in a good position for a shot. REAPERS's supporters rose to their feet, but Becan Mulvihill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mack McMichel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 59 played minutes Carrigaline Utd got a freekick which was hit by Pierson Prunty. A collision led to Carrigaline Utd getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Pierson Prunty hit a great ball. After 73 played minutes, REAPERS's Braon McCready shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mack McMichel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in REAPERS reached it. Mack McMichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Becan Mulvihill in the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Pierson Prunty was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrigaline Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave REAPERS the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Carrigaline Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierson Prunty to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Treno Frankson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mack McMichel was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After 83 minutes, Becan Mulvihill made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Carrigaline Utd's Mack McMichel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Treno Frankson put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mack McMichel. If Treno Frankson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the REAPERS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
