The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Braoin McPeter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beamard Rutherford in the 3rd minute of play. Braoin McPeter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmet McFrank in the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Bono's goal looked a bit too open when Comhghall Gollogley came free, but Braoin McPeter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tathan Ghee made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ding Dong in the 8th minute. Donegan McGlynn kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Braoin McPeter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beamard Rutherford in the 16th minute of the match. Braoin McPeter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beamard Rutherford, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Naas's goal looked a bit too open when Pearce McLian came free, but Tathan Ghee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Pearce McLian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Keegan Dillon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Braoin McPeter. Bono's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Keegan Dillon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 36th minute Emmet McFrank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braoin McPeter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Comhghall Gollogley scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Braoin McPeter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 41 played minutes Bono got a freekick which was hit by Pearce McLian. A hard and well directed shot from Keegan Dillon led 42 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Bono's Braoin McPeter became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-3. Braoin McPeter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beamard Rutherford, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keegan Dillon couldn't finish the play. Tathan Ghee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Earnán Grant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Bailey Ferguson put in a rough tackle. Bailey Ferguson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Pearce McLian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Naas's Tathan Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Earnán Grant in the 79th minute of play. Donegan McGlynn got a throw-in 82 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Emmet McFrank. A collision led to Bono getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Pearce McLian hit a great ball. Donegan McGlynn's late challenge caught a Bono's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donegan McGlynn helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bono booed when Naas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donegan McGlynn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bono's Pearce McLian got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
