Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 159) Beara McAaron started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Oughteragh United's Bree Keegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ding Dong in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Earnán Grant had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bree Keegan. Oughteragh United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Earnán Grant was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 13th minute Pearce McLian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bree Keegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, Bono's Ding Dong made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bree Keegan was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Boddibevve Taylor in the 19th minute of play forced Oughteragh United's goalkeeper Bree Keegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Ding Dong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bono fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 23 minutes into the game, Samuel McMichel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oughteragh United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bono the free kick. Ding Dong took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bree Keegan. Oughteragh United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ding Dong's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bree Keegan was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Oughteragh United's Teris Caffey got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Bono's Ding Dong in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oughteragh United's goalie prevented a goal. Bree Keegan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bree Keegan came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Bono's Bert Baron. But to his dismay, Bert Baron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brazil McJames during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bono's Brazil McJames got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute Pearce McLian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bree Keegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braoin McPeter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gearard Ferguson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Bree Keegan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bert Baron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ding Dong to strike the kick off in the second half. Brazil McJames kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boddibevve Taylor in the 58th minute of play forced Oughteragh United's goalkeeper Bree Keegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bree Keegan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boddibevve Taylor, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The supporters of Bono booed when Oughteragh United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gearard Ferguson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Bert Baron made a precise shot to the right of Bree Keegan. Oughteragh United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Brazil McJames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Bree Keegan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oughteragh United's Bree Keegan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Oughteragh United from getting a goal against them. Pearce McLian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Bree Keegan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bree Keegan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boddibevve Taylor, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Ding Dong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Bree Keegan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bree Keegan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pearce McLian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th match minute, Oughteragh United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teris Caffey to maneuver through the defense. Boddibevve Taylor hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Brazil McJames could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Bree Keegan made a huge save. Ding Dong who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Bree Keegan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Braoin McPeter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gearard Ferguson in the 92nd minute of play. Ding Dong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Bree Keegan made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Bono left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Oughteragh United.
