Spectators: 7989 (Terracing: 5993, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) Donagh Molloy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bree Keegan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 played minutes Sneem got a freekick which was hit by Gill McNamara. Beara McAaron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beara McAaron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bar McLian having to interfere. Bar McLian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beara McAaron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bar McLian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beara McAaron, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Beara McAaron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Arthur Tierney fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sneem's protests and gave Arthur Tierney a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Sneem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Tierney to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Oughteragh United's Rolan Dempsey tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Ryleigh Silke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bar McLian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beara McAaron in the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rollin McPhil to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Sneem's goal looked a bit too open when Beara McAaron came free, but Bar McLian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Beara McAaron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Davie Colwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bar McLian having to interfere. Sneem's Bar McLian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davie Colwell in the 79th minute of play. Beara McAaron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bar McLian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
