Braoin McPeter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Cacey Benson put in a rough tackle. Drumkeeran:s Donelle McBrandon showed great skill when he stopped Ding Dong:s penalty. Drumkeeran's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Ding Dong scored to the left of an out of position Donelle McBrandon, making the score, 1-2. 33 minutes into the game, Bono's Ding Dong nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donelle McBrandon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Drumkeeran's Harold Delaney got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ding Dong was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Bono getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ding Dong hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Baron in the 57th minute of play forced Drumkeeran's goalkeeper Donelle McBrandon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Drumkeeran's Donelle McBrandon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Earnán Grant in the 70th minute of play. If Harold Delaney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Bono got a freekick which was hit by Boddibevve Taylor. A hard shot by Torran Murphy from long distance, 75 minutes into the match, got Braoin McPeter's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Seoirse McGlynn kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Boddibevve Taylor hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Torran Murphy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Braoin McPeter. Bono's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Seoirse McGlynn hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Patton John kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Seoirse McGlynn during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 played minutes Bono got a freekick which was hit by Seoirse McGlynn. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
