When Blar Gallagher fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Drink Team's protests and gave Blar Gallagher a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Drink Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blar Gallagher to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Emmet McFrank's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Darick Willson was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 61st match minute, Naas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rowe McNamara to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Finian Beckett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tathan Ghee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rowe McNamara hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Drink Team's Kevin Moran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tathan Ghee. That made the score 4-1 after 94 minutes of play. Naas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
