After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Harold Delaney managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drumkeeran's supporters rose to their feet, but Harold Delaney was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bree Keegan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute Harold Delaney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bree Keegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes Drumkeeran got a freekick which was hit by Donelle Murphy. Beara McAaron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donelle McBrandon having to interfere. Bree Keegan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denny Rutherford, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With an all-out effort, Drumkeeran's Bree Keegan threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Denny Rutherford, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The score was 1-1 after a penalty in the 90th minute, where Drumkeeran:s Torran Murphy tricked Oughteragh United:s Bree Keegan with a difficult ball by the left post. Bohannon McJon hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
