Bodibeua McTommy started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tipraite Horgan during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Colmcille Gough successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Colmcille Gough stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bodibeua McTommy's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Castle Celtic's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Heremon Walker was slow to take the kick. During this time Stouthearted™'s players had a chance to rest. Stouthearted™'s Heremon Walker was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Colmcille Gough in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bodibeua McTommy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Colmcille Gough tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bodibeua McTommy in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Colmcille Gough prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bodibeua McTommy had several of the Castle Celtic's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Colmcille Gough as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 30th minute, Nollaig Molloy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. John McAaron was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Bodibeua McTommy sped through Castle Celtic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Colmcille Gough. In the 43rd minute Bodibeua McTommy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Colmcille Gough saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Castle Celtic's Alfred McDonald got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 45th match minute, Castle Celtic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breck Palmer to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfred McDonald made a kick off. John McAaron made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tipraite Horgan in the 54th minute. Alfred McDonald struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. John McAaron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castle Celtic. The supporters of Castle Celtic booed when Stouthearted™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mack Lester didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brendann Hutton kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brennan Doherty during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Stouthearted™ getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Brennan Doherty hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Tipraite Horgan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tipraite Horgan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. A collision led to Castle Celtic getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tipraite Horgan hit a great ball. When Stouthearted™'s Bodibeua McTommy in 73 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Colmcille Gough guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 85 minutes into the match, Bodibeua McTommy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Colmcille Gough. Castle Celtic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bodibeua McTommy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Colmcille Gough came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Stouthearted™'s Ross McWilliam. But to his dismay, Ross McWilliam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1.
