Edenacarnan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harry McSteve was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 16 minutes, Caoilte Kelly made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rahan Utd's Trevor Gallagher tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Berchan Myler to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Caoilte Kelly put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Trevor Gallagher. The supporters of Edenacarnan booed when Rahan Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harrington McVictor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Caoilte Kelly's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Trevor Gallagher was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Trevor Gallagher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
