Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 4 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Ravan Ghee. Darren Hughes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Barry Molloy. If Dinny McPeter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Bergin Dalton made a precise shot to the right of Rowen Perth. Exams's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Rowen Perth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bergin Dalton in the 23rd minute of the match. Ravan Ghee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Rowen Perth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bergin Dalton in the 32nd minute of play forced Exams's goalkeeper Rowen Perth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Exams defense, Bergin Dalton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rowen Perth. The Exams fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rowen Perth should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, France's goalkeeper Darren Hughes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Finn Byrne. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bergin Dalton in the 45th minute of play forced Exams's goalkeeper Rowen Perth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Edwin Perth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Exams's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bergin Dalton to make the kick off. Dinny McPeter struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Darren Hughes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Exams. Coran McGlenn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Dinny McPeter came free, but Darren Hughes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Dinny McPeter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Peter Ferguson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. France's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Exams the free kick. Peter Ferguson kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Baiscend McWilliam kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Bergin Dalton might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rowen Perth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bergin Dalton ran back to his position shaking his head. Bera Kirby let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 72nd minute shot 0-3 at rihgt post. After 76 minutes, Banbhan Doherty mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the France and the Exams players grew even worse after the yellow card. Banbhan Doherty hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Dinny McPeter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Darren Hughes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Exams's Coran McGlenn got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bergin Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowen Perth having to interfere. The Exams supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching France's performance. The match ended with a win for France.
