Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tierney Taylor started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Exams's Barry Molloy broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 6thth minute of the game Coran McGlenn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but lackagh utd's Binnech Martyn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th match minute, lackagh utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braden Doherty to maneuver through the defense. Dinny McPeter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinny McPeter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Binnech Martyn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18th minute Coran McGlenn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Binnech Martyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tierney Taylor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Caolán McGlynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Binnech Martyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coran McGlenn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caolán McGlynn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernard Perth's late challenge caught a Exams's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernard Perth helped the player get up and apologised. Bernard Perth hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 50 minutes into the match, Exams's goal looked a bit too open when Caolán McGlynn came free, but Rowen Perth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Coran McGlenn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Exams's supporters rose to their feet, but Coran McGlenn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Binnech Martyn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Binnech Martyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coran McGlenn in the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of lackagh utd booed when Exams was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavin Crowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 played minutes, lackagh utd's Bairee McPhilip shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rowen Perth came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in lackagh utd reached it. Caolán McGlynn was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Dinny McPeter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the game, Brendon McOliver was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Exams's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave lackagh utd the free kick. Brendon McOliver hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Binnech Martyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinny McPeter, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Buach Hutton hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Tierney Taylor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernard Perth hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Binnech Martyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinny McPeter, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Finn Byrne's late challenge caught a lackagh utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Finn Byrne helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Exams's Finn Byrne got a free kick in the 76th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Exams fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Rowen Perth went to the wrong direction when Bairee McPhilip was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Caolán McGlynn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Rowen Perth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dinny McPeter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 played minutes lackagh utd got a freekick which was hit by Buach Hutton. Dinny McPeter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Binnech Martyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinny McPeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 98 minutes of play, Exams's Dinny McPeter made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Binnech Martyn was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Exams fans cheered their team off the field, for while lackagh utd had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
