The audience was convinced that Leon Caffey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Breccan Brennan was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Derryclure FC's Blathma John played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braeden Gillmour in the 22nd minute of play. Derryclure FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Millioners the free kick. Blian McTommy hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Derryclure FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Caffey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Breccan Brennan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hugh Johnson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Derryclure FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Millioners to leave the ground with a draw.
