In the 7th minute Aengus Gollogley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barin Costello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Blathmac Kirby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Caoilte Colwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. LadysBridge F.C.'s Bedilia Hughes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caoilte Scully in the 23rd minute of play. When Kevion Keegan fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LadysBridge F.C.'s protests and gave Kevion Keegan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Kevion Keegan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Caoilte Colwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Blathmac Kirby managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a defensive mix-up in LadysBridge F.C.'s zone, Caoilte Scully stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bedilia Hughes came out of the goal and Caoilte Scully tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute of the match, Caoilte Scully tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bedilia Hughes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Caoilte Colwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Bedilia Hughes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aengus Gollogley to make the kick off. Barin Costello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aengus Gollogley in the 52nd minute of play. Bedilia Hughes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caoilte Colwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bressail Walker during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th minute, one of LadysBridge F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LadysBridge F.C.. Aengus Gollogley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Barin Costello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Caoilte Colwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Aengus Gollogley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caoilte Colwell in the 76th minute of play forced LadysBridge F.C.'s goalkeeper Bedilia Hughes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MKS POGOŃ SZCZECIN! 83 minutes into the match, MKS POGOŃ SZCZECIN's goal looked a bit too open when Aengus Gollogley came free, but Barin Costello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Aengus Gollogley got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Aengus Gollogley came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the LadysBridge F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aengus Gollogley couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the LadysBridge F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MKS POGOŃ SZCZECIN.
