Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aengus Gollogley got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Aengus Gollogley fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 5th minute, Thomas Hughes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Aengus Gollogley managed to get in a good position for a shot. LadysBridge F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Aengus Gollogley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donahue Cassin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aengus Gollogley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bairrionn McVictor took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bedilia Hughes. Bedilia Hughes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Aengus Gollogley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donahue Cassin was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. LadysBridge F.C.'s Bedilia Hughes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bairrionn McVictor in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bairrionn McVictor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bedilia Hughes was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Barley McFrancise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute Bairrionn McVictor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bedilia Hughes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Bairrionn McVictor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gowlin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bairrionn McVictor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Blathmac Kirby took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Donahue Cassin to make any attempt to save it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bairrionn McVictor was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Bairrionn McVictor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LadysBridge F.C.'s Bedilia Hughes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gowlin's zone, Blathmac Kirby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donahue Cassin came out of the goal and Blathmac Kirby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Blathmac Kirby managed to get in a good position for a shot. LadysBridge F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Blathmac Kirby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donahue Cassin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bedilia Hughes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bairrionn McVictor, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Brion Gillmour kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Bedilia Hughes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bairrionn McVictor in the 71st minute of play. Curran McDecland charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Curran McDecland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, LadysBridge F.C.'s Curran McDecland got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Blanaid McJohn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, LadysBridge F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bairrionn McVictor fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. LadysBridge F.C.'s Bedilia Hughes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save LadysBridge F.C. from getting a goal against them. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
