Declan Caffey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bercan Doyle having to interfere. Declan Caffey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Bercan Doyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32ndth minute of the game Declan Caffey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Emyvale AFC's Bercan Doyle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bera McSteven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Dempsey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Barr Sheridan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Emyvale AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glacknabrade the free kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

53 minutes into the match, Glacknabrade's Bradner Quinnless sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bercan Doyle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 60 minutes, Roland Dempsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emyvale AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Dempsey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 77 minutes of play, Emyvale AFC's Roland Dempsey made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bera McSteven was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bera McSteven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brenainn McSteven, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute.
