Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Boru Molloy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breannain Martyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Brannagh Robinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cloonfinnaun's zone, Gilian Prunty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Colm Lavine came out of the goal and Gilian Prunty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colm Lavine made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Brannagh Robinson sent off a good shot on target. Brannagh Robinson charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brannagh Robinson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Moyoran got a freekick which was hit by Brannagh Robinson. Cloonfinnaun's Bray Doherty got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Cloonfinnaun defense, Brannagh Robinson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Colm Lavine. The Cloonfinnaun fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Colm Lavine should have stopped the shot. Colm Lavine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilian Prunty in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Breanainn McJames mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cloonfinnaun and the Moyoran players grew even worse after the yellow card. Breanainn McJames kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Brannagh Robinson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Moyoran's goal looked a bit too open when Breannain Martyn came free, but Boru Molloy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cloonfinnaun getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Pierson Duggan hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Oliver Perth suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Briony Palmer during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Moyoran getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Briony Palmer hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Moyoran's goal looked a bit too open when Bray Doherty came free, but Boru Molloy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bray Doherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Boru Molloy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moyoran's Boru Molloy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bray Doherty in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brannagh Robinson was the one to do the kick off. Brannagh Robinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colm Lavine having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Bray Doherty made a precise shot to the right of Boru Molloy. Moyoran's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 60th minute, Pierson Duggan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Moyoran's Boru Molloy didn't even have to move. Brannagh Robinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Colm Lavine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bray Doherty came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Cloonfinnaun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bray Doherty couldn't finish the play. Moyoran's Boru Molloy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Moyoran from getting a goal against them. Brannagh Robinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brannagh Robinson in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Colm Lavine saved Cloonfinnaun from getting behind. Beale Ferguson kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Brannagh Robinson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moyoran's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brannagh Robinson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bray Doherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Gilian Prunty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cloonfinnaun's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
