Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Reilley McJon came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Pallaskenry fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reilley McJon couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Cloonfinnaun's Beale Ferguson got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 22nd minute, Britain McPaul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bray Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Breannain Martyn fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Brannagh Rogers, passed just outside the right post. When Baolach McVictor came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Pallaskenry fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baolach McVictor couldn't finish the play. Pierson Duggan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Theobald Delaney hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Breannain Martyn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brannagh Rogers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The long shot by Ciarán McNamara in the 44th minute really tested Brannagh Rogers's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Colm Lavine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baolach McVictor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Breannain Martyn made a kick off. After 58 played minutes Pallaskenry got a freekick which was hit by Birr Costello. Pierson Duggan didn't quite understand what happened when in the 60 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Brannagh Rogers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bray Doherty's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Colm Lavine made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Reilley McJon sent off a good shot on target. Pallaskenry's Brannagh Rogers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bray Doherty in the 67th minute of play. After 76 minutes, Beale Ferguson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cloonfinnaun and the Pallaskenry players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes Cloonfinnaun got a freekick which was hit by Beale Ferguson. Baolach McVictor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colm Lavine having to interfere. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pallaskenry's goalkeeper Brannagh Rogers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Brefni Sheridan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cloonfinnaun's Eoghan Ghee got a free kick in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Cloonfinnaun's goalkeeper Colm Lavine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reilley McJon. In the 93rd minute, Brefni Sheridan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
