But to his dismay, Bannon McWillie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Barnaby Dunne charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barnaby Dunne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Barnaby Dunne kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Bairee Sheridan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glen Hutton in the 12th minute. Boethis McLaughlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerrigan Horgan having to interfere. Ullard's Bairee Sheridan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tate Doherty in the 19th minute of play. Bannon McWillie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Liverpool Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Bannon McWillie came free, but Kerrigan Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Boethis McLaughlin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ullard's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool Football Club the free kick. Bairee Sheridan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ros McPhil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ullard getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Hugh McGlenn hit a great ball. Kerrigan Horgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugh McGlenn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomás McLaughlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Ullard were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tate Doherty was the one to do the kick off. Bannon McWillie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bannon McWillie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Kerrigan Horgan made a huge save. 58 minutes into the game, Bannon McWillie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 74th minute, Hugh McGlenn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barnaby Dunne hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Ullard's Hugh McGlenn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kerrigan Horgan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bannon McWillie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kerrigan Horgan having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Ullard's Tomás McLaughlin got a free kick in the 91st minute. Kerrigan Horgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bannon McWillie in the 92nd minute of play. The Ullard players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
