After 16 minutes of play, Ullard's Bannon McWillie made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaden Ryan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Bantry McMichel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porridgetown's supporters rose to their feet, but Bantry McMichel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bairee Sheridan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Ullard getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Kennedy McTommy hit a great ball. Porridgetown's Bantry McMichel got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bannon McWillie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Barclay Holt fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porridgetown's protests and gave Barclay Holt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, Porridgetown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barclay Holt to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Bresal Keegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bairee Sheridan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bannon McWillie made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Ullard's Pembroke Ghee got a free kick in the 51st minute. Tomás McLaughlin's late challenge caught a Porridgetown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás McLaughlin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Tomás McLaughlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bairee Sheridan made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Bresal Keegan sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, Ullard's goalkeeper Bairee Sheridan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bresal Keegan. Bresal Keegan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Bairee Sheridan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bannon McWillie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Porridgetown booed when Ullard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugh McGlenn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bannon McWillie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justin Cassin kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Ullard's Bairee Sheridan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bresal Keegan in the 91st minute of play. Bannon McWillie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaden Ryan having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Porridgetown players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ullard.
