Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rosmult's Gearóid Doyle started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kerrigan Horgan came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosmult's Gearóid Doyle. But to his dismay, Gearóid Doyle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 9 played minutes Rosmult got a freekick which was hit by Bola Hamilton. Bola Hamilton hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Ros McPhil shot a long shot in the 16th minute and a light blocked Derry Hughes hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool Football Club's zone, Gearóid Doyle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kerrigan Horgan came out of the goal and Gearóid Doyle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kerrigan Horgan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reidy Costello went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 27thth minute of the game Gearóid Doyle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liverpool Football Club's Kerrigan Horgan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Gearóid Doyle notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Liverpool Football Club's Kerrigan Horgan. Kerrigan Horgan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baodan Lavine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Kerrigan Horgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gearóid Doyle in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kerrigan Horgan saved Liverpool Football Club from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gearóid Doyle in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kerrigan Horgan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Derry Hughes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rorke Grant in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Gearóid Doyle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kerrigan Horgan. Liverpool Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gearóid Doyle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tate Doherty to make the kick off. Gearóid Doyle did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Kerrigan Horgan 53 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gearóid Doyle in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kerrigan Horgan saved Liverpool Football Club from getting behind. When Bairthmead Doyle came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Rosmult fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bairthmead Doyle couldn't finish the play. If Gearóid Doyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 62nd minute Gearóid Doyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerrigan Horgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liverpool Football Club's Kerrigan Horgan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Liverpool Football Club from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Gearóid Doyle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kerrigan Horgan was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Reidy Costello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Liverpool Football Club's Kerrigan Horgan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Liverpool Football Club from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute, Torrey Rogers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baodan Lavine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Kerrigan Horgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kerrigan Horgan stood somewhat misplaced when Gearóid Doyle came free in front of goal and shot 1-6 to the left of him in the 79 minute. Conaill Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerrigan Horgan having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Gearóid Doyle could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-7 into the left cross. When Rosmult's Gearóid Doyle in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liverpool Football Club's goalie prevented a goal. If Torrey Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gearóid Doyles short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Kerrigan Horgan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kerrigan Horgan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gearóid Doyle in the 97th minute.
