Bearach Robinson got his second yellow card in the match during the 25th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Bohemian Football Club getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bearach Robinson hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the game, Barnaby Dunne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ullard's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bohemian Football Club the free kick. The supporters of Bohemian Football Club booed when Ullard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boethis McLaughlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolan Ryan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bairee Sheridan. Ullard's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bannon McWillie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sherlock McOliver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Rolan Ryan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bairee Sheridan. Ullard's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rolan Ryan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 48 minutes, Bannon McWillie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ullard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bannon McWillie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolan Ryan to make the kick off. Bealtaine Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Bairee Sheridan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sherlock McOliver was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Bohemian Football Club players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ullard from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
