In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Liverpool Football Club's goalkeeper Kerrigan Horgan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th match minute, Liverpool Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Cassin to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Liverpool Football Club getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Turlough Gillmour hit a great ball. Liverpool Football Club's Kerrigan Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cianán McTom in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Liverpool Football Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Barr McJohnny fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Dinny McLiam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tate Doherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Tate Doherty cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dinny McLiam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th minute, Braydon Lester got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barr McJohnny got free with Kerrigan Horgan in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the game, Barr McJohnny cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kerrigan Horgan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Ray getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Barr McJohnny hit a great ball. Barr McJohnny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ray booed when Liverpool Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glen Hutton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barr McJohnny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerrigan Horgan having to interfere.

53 minutes into the match, Liverpool Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Barr McJohnny came free, but Kerrigan Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Bowen Jameson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerrigan Horgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Barr McJohnny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kerrigan Horgan. Liverpool Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barr McJohnny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Tate Doherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Bowen Jameson put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kerrigan Horgan. Ray's Bowen Jameson got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rorke Grant's late challenge caught a Ray's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rorke Grant helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Liverpool Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Rorke Grant. Barr McJohnny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Kerrigan Horgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bowen Jameson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kerrigan Horgan having to make a save. Liverpool Football Club's Kerrigan Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barr McJohnny in the 92nd minute of play. Dinny McLiam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tate Doherty in the 95th minute of play. Barr McJohnny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ray fully deserved thier win.
