Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Coinneach Colwell made the kick off which started today's match. When Louie McGlenn fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Drummeen's protests and gave Louie McGlenn a yellow card for diving instead. 10 minutes into the game, one of Drummeen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kerrigan Ghee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bhrighde Ramsey in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute Daron Dunne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerrigan Ghee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gordon McBjarton came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Drummeen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gordon McBjarton couldn't finish the play. After 26 minutes, Bellaghy Morrison mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Drummeen and the Brockra Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Brockra Utd booed when Drummeen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bellaghy Morrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Drummeen's Kerrigan Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bhrighde Ramsey in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Drummeen's zone, Bhrighde Ramsey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kerrigan Ghee came out of the goal and Bhrighde Ramsey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bhrighde Ramsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Kerrigan Ghee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gordon McBjarton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pearse McPhil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Louie McGlenn hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Kerrigan Ghee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daron Dunne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Drummeen's Kerrigan Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daron Dunne in the 55th minute of play. After 55 played minutes Drummeen got a freekick which was hit by Philib Caffey. After 57 played minutes, Brockra Utd's Conn Duggan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kerrigan Ghee came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brockra Utd reached it. Daron Dunne came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kerrigan Ghee could save by the left post. In the 69th minute, Leon John ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kerrigan Ghee was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Daron Dunne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerrigan Ghee having to interfere. Kerrigan Ghee made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leon John in the 77th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Gordon McBjarton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drummeen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gordon McBjarton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ravan McFrancise's late challenge caught a Brockra Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ravan McFrancise helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Ravan McFrancise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leon John's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kerrigan Ghee firmly grabbed it by the left post. Drummeen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Bhrighde Ramsey scored to the left of an out of position Kerrigan Ghee, making the score, 0-3. Gordon McBjarton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pearse McPhil having to make a save. Drummeen's Kerrigan Ghee proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Drummeen from getting a goal against them. In the 97th minute Gordon McBjarton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pearse McPhil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Brockra Utd left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Drummeen.
