Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tate Doherty to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coinneach Colwell in the 58th minute of play forced Liverpool Football Club's goalkeeper Kerrigan Horgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liverpool Football Club's Kerrigan Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Coinneach Colwell in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Liverpool Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Bhrighde Ramsey came free, but Kerrigan Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bhrighde Ramsey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kerrigan Horgan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Coinneach Colwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerrigan Horgan having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Coinneach Colwell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kerrigan Horgan was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Coinneach Colwell in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kerrigan Horgan prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
