Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 160) Gilian McFrank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Bearchan Cooney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 minutes of play, Clonkirk's Adamnan Holt made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renny Delaney was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bearchan Cooney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilian McFrank in the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Bealtaine Caffrey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renny Delaney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bealtaine Caffrey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renny Delaney having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Mully's goal looked a bit too open when Bealtaine Caffrey came free, but Renny Delaney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Clonkirk supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Clonkirk would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
