Barnatra AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laban the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Declan Quinnless managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barnatra AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Declan Quinnless was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fachtna Savic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Breannain Ghee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bragain Caffrey in the 9th minute of play. Barnatra AFC's Breannain Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Coran McSteven in the 11th minute of play. Laban's Fachtna Savic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fintan Ramsey in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the Laban defense, Breadan McMichel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fachtna Savic. The Laban fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fachtna Savic should have stopped the shot. Fachtna Savic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breadan McMichel in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Bragain Caffrey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breannain Ghee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Rownun McGlynn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Barnatra AFC's goalkeeper Breannain Ghee had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tyrone Murphy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coran McSteven in the 41st minute of play forced Barnatra AFC's goalkeeper Breannain Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Patton McCollion took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Breannain Ghee to make any attempt to save it. Lewy McBrand charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lewy McBrand the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Laban's Lewy McBrand got a free kick in the 47th minute. The Laban players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barnatra AFC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tyrone Murphy was the one to do the kick off. Bragain Caffrey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Breannain Ghee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patton McCollion, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Declan Quinnless charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Declan Quinnless the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Barnatra AFC got a freekick which was hit by Declan Quinnless. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bragain Caffrey in the 71st minute of play forced Barnatra AFC's goalkeeper Breannain Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Barnatra AFC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Rownun McGlynn hit a great ball. The supporters of Barnatra AFC booed when Laban was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Coran McSteven didn't get a good kick on the ball. Breannain Ghee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyrone Murphy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Breadan McMichel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fachtna Savic having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
