Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Adamnan Holt started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Declan Quinnless's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bearchan Cooney was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Clonkirk's Bearchan Cooney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Declan Quinnless in the 5th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bealtaine Caffrey got free with Breannain Ghee in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute Declan Quinnless shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bearchan Cooney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Bealtaine Caffrey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clonkirk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Declan Quinnless in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bearchan Cooney saved Clonkirk from getting behind. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Clonkirk! Bearchan Cooney had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Declan Quinnless's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Todd McLian hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Barnatra AFC's Breannain Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bealtaine Caffrey in the 25th minute of play. With 26 minutes on the clock, Rownun McGlynn commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 26th match minute, Barnatra AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rownun McGlynn to maneuver through the defense. Breannain Ghee made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Brak Willson sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 29 minutes, Fintan Ramsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barnatra AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fintan Ramsey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fintan Ramsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bearchan Cooney having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Fintan Ramsey made a precise shot to the right of Bearchan Cooney. Clonkirk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Declan Jameson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breannain Ghee having to interfere. Breadan McMichel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Bearchan Cooney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boyd McJohnny hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Bealtaine Caffrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Breadan McMichel to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Fintan Ramsey kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bearchan Cooney. That made the score 1-2 in the 56 minute of play. In the 64th minute, Bealtaine Caffrey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Breadan McMichel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Bearchan Cooney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Breadan McMichel got free with Bearchan Cooney in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute, Breadan McMichel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fintan Ramsey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Bearchan Cooney made a huge save. Declan Jameson hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Bragain McTommy hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Breadan McMichel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Breadan McMichel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barnatra AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Breadan McMichel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bearchan Cooney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the game, Bealtaine Caffrey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Breannain Ghee was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Clonkirk's Declan Jameson in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barnatra AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Clonkirk succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Barnatra AFC had controlled the match.
