Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Henry McPaul took the kick off in the first half of the match. Piers Cronin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bercnan Kirby in the 3rd minute of play. After 14 minutes, Sherlock Ferguson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Derryrush Utd and the Up The Dubs players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Sherlock Ferguson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Bevin Callaghan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Up The Dubs's supporters rose to their feet, but Bevin Callaghan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piers Cronin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute Boudibiua Savic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danann McCready saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bevin Callaghan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piers Cronin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bevin Callaghan, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, Bevin Callaghan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Derryrush Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Bevin Callaghan came free, but Piers Cronin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Derryrush Utd's Boudibiua Savic got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 47 minutes of play, Derryrush Utd's Baird Coyle made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danann McCready was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boudibiua Savic stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Up The Dubs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bearnad Jameson to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute Boudibiua Savic suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Henry McPaul charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henry McPaul the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, one of Up The Dubs:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Up The Dubs. The referee gave Derryrush Utd a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Oliver McPhil, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Up The Dubs's Danann McCready. 3-0. After 66 minutes of play, Up The Dubs's Braden McNamee made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Piers Cronin was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Braden McNamee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 75 played minutes Derryrush Utd got a freekick which was hit by Baird Coyle. Braden McNamee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Bevin Callaghan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bevin Callaghan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Piers Cronin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sherlock Ferguson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baird Coyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Up The Dubs's Danann McCready played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartley McPhil in the 93rd minute of play. When Bevin Callaghan came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Up The Dubs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bevin Callaghan couldn't finish the play. Bercnan Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Derryrush Utd were victorious despite being under pressure from Up The Dubs for much of the match.
