With a little luck, Conaghra's Baodan Glen Crowe got control of the ball when Henry McPaul tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baodan Glen Crowe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henry McPaul's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Colm McWill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Danann McCready tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conaghra's Baodan Glen Crowe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braden McNamee in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry McPaul in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baodan Glen Crowe saved Conaghra from getting behind. In the 29th minute Herne Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danann McCready saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bevin Callaghan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Up The Dubs booed when Conaghra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desmond McSteve didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danann McCready showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herne Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When Bercnan Kirby fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Up The Dubs's protests and gave Bercnan Kirby a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Conaghra booed when Up The Dubs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bercnan Kirby didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Colm McWill made the kick off in the second half. Joshua Ramsey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Herne Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Conaghra's supporters rose to their feet, but Herne Byrne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danann McCready breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Up The Dubs's goalkeeper Danann McCready, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Conaghra getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Terence McWillie hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry McPaul in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baodan Glen Crowe saved Conaghra from getting behind. In the 71stth minute of the game Henry McPaul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Conaghra's Baodan Glen Crowe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Up The Dubs's Danann McCready played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Colm McWill in the 77th minute of play. Henry McPaul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baodan Glen Crowe having to interfere. Up The Dubs's Braden McNamee got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Conaghra got a freekick which was hit by Terence McWillie. After 89 played minutes Colm McWill rounded Up The Dubs's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Braden McNamee took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baodan Glen Crowe. Baodan Glen Crowe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Conaghra succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Up The Dubs had controlled the match.
