Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Boyle Doherty started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, Campile's Boyle Doherty made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conleth Brennan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Boyle Doherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Conleth Brennan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Littleton's zone, Felim Morrison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conleth Brennan came out of the goal and Felim Morrison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conleth Brennan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyle Doherty in the 17th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Boyle Doherty put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Conleth Brennan. The supporters of Littleton booed when Campile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kealan Hutton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Derry Scully fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Becan McGlynn having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Littleton's Ryleigh Deery sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Becan McGlynn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Kealan Hutton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felim Morrison took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Conleth Brennan. Littleton's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Campile's Berchan McJohnny got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berchan McJohnny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Conleth Brennan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Berchan McJohnny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conleth Brennan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Conleth Brennan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyle Doherty in the 60th minute of play. Littleton's Derry Scully got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Berchan McJohnny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conleth Brennan. Littleton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Berchan McJohnny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. If Boyle Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berchan McJohnny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donavan Barrett hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Boyle Doherty came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Campile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boyle Doherty couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Littleton's zone, Boyle Doherty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conleth Brennan came out of the goal and Boyle Doherty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Campile's Boyle Doherty ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Conleth Brennan. Conleth Brennan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. If Ryleigh Deery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Campile's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
