A collision led to Derryrush Utd getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Oliver McPhil hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Corvoley's goal looked a bit too open when Shiel Silke came free, but Gerard Deery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berk McBrandon hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, Cáirbre Gough was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Derryrush Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corvoley the free kick. A collision led to Derryrush Utd getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Cáirbre Gough hit a great ball. Gerard Deery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boudibiua Savic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Berk McBrandon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Irving Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Derryrush Utd's goalkeeper Piers Cronin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Irving Doherty. The referee felt a red card was in order, 48 minutes into the game, when Brin McNamara put in a rough tackle. In the 47th minute, one of Corvoley:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Corvoley. The referee gave Derryrush Utd a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Oliver McPhil, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Corvoley's Gerard Deery. 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boudibiua Savic made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sherlock Ferguson during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sherlock Ferguson kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Quinton Ramsey kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Corvoley's goal looked a bit too open when Boudibiua Savic came free, but Gerard Deery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Derryrush Utd's Beollan McTom got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 69 minutes of play, Corvoley's Berk McBrandon made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Piers Cronin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rordan Deery hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The supporters of Derryrush Utd booed when Corvoley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brogan McPhil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Berk McBrandon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Patrick Rutherford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corvoley's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Rutherford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piers Cronin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Piers Cronin came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Corvoley's Irving Doherty. But to his dismay, Irving Doherty quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Berk McBrandon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corvoley's supporters rose to their feet, but Berk McBrandon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piers Cronin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Corvoley getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Berk McBrandon hit a great ball. Baird Coyle came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gerard Deery could save by the left post. When the referee ended the match the Corvoley players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
