Bairthmead Holt struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Baodan Glen Crowe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corvoley. Brogan McPhil kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Conaghra's Joshua Ramsey couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Corvoley. Herne Byrne scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerard Deery, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Corvoley's Gerard Deery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herne Byrne in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the game Joshua Ramsey made a throw-in which Bercan Ferguson played forward. Gerard Deery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desmond McSteve in the 22nd minute of the match. After 35 minutes of play, Conaghra's Colm McWill made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerard Deery was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bairthmead Holt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baodan Glen Crowe having to interfere. Berk McBrandon hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute Colm McWill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerard Deery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes, Rordan Deery mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corvoley and the Conaghra players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Corvoley's Rordan Deery got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Corvoley's zone, Colm McWill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerard Deery came out of the goal and Colm McWill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bairthmead Holt to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Corvoley got a freekick which was hit by Brogan McPhil. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joshua Ramsey got free with Gerard Deery in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Corvoley's Bairthmead Holt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joshua Ramsey, made in the 60th minute of the game. Corvoley's Bairthmead Holt got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerard Deery made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Herne Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Desmond McSteve could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Gerard Deery made a huge save. 72 minutes into the match, Corvoley's goal looked a bit too open when Colm McWill came free, but Gerard Deery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerard Deery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Colm McWill in the 75th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Terence McWillie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Gerard Deery was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Herne Byrnes short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Gerard Deery to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bairthmead Holt in the 92nd minute of play forced Conaghra's goalkeeper Baodan Glen Crowe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Corvoley booed when Conaghra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berk Rutherford didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corvoley's attentive Bairthmead Holt managed to snatch the ball when Joshua Ramsey made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. In the 96th minute of the game Joshua Ramsey made a throw-in which Bercan Ferguson played forward.
