Deilgne Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Coinneach Quinnless was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdia Savic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kennedy Ramsey in the 7th minute of play forced Dublin BG Tigers's goalkeeper Ferdia Savic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Rowan Lester cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Henry Hughes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ferdia Savic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kennedy Ramsey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Dublin BG Tigers's zone, Bras McWilliam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdia Savic came out of the goal and Bras McWilliam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Deilgne Utd's Ferdia Savic threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kennedy Ramsey, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 18 minutes, Kennedy Ramsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deilgne Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kennedy Ramsey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ferdia Savic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kennedy Ramsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Bras McWilliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Deilgne Utd's Kennedy Ramsey in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 31stth minute of the game Kennedy Ramsey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dublin BG Tigers's Ferdia Savic was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dublin BG Tigers's zone, Bras McWilliam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdia Savic came out of the goal and Bras McWilliam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bras McWilliam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferdia Savic read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Dublin BG Tigers's Ferdia Savic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Dublin BG Tigers from getting a goal against them. Rowan Lester kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Dublin BG Tigers were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rowan Lester was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Deilgne Utd's Bras McWilliam nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdia Savic made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ferdia Savic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kennedy Ramsey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Bras McWilliam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Dublin BG Tigers booed when Deilgne Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donagh Harkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bras McWilliam came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Deilgne Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bras McWilliam couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Healey Hughes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deilgne Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Healey Hughes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdia Savic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deilgne Utd were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
