Hedgetown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kealan McPhilip was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Healey Hughes hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Rordan Gallagher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eoghan Callaghan hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Deilgne Utd's Kennedy Ramsey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexander McDecland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Deilgne Utd's Bras McWilliam in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hedgetown's goalie prevented a goal. Rordan Gallagher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander McDecland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kennedy Ramsey's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 42nd minute Kennedy Ramsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander McDecland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bras McWilliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Hedgetown players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deilgne Utd were winning 0-1.

Hedgetown's Alexander McDecland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kennedy Ramsey in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Bras McWilliam notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Hedgetown's Alexander McDecland. Alexander McDecland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kennedy Ramsey in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander McDecland saved Hedgetown from getting behind. Kennedy Ramsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Alexander McDecland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Bras McWilliam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rordan Gallagher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Hughes having to interfere. Breadan McPeter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bras McWilliam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bras McWilliam who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Alexander McDecland when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
