The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donagh Quinnless during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute, one of Rossgeir:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rossgeir. David Duggan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toom's Harkin Todd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Toom from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Pearce Gough managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toom's supporters rose to their feet, but Pearce Gough was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lou Morrison breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Toom's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Barhart McJon scored to the left of an out of position Harkin Todd, making the score, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

55 minutes into the game, Harley Frankson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rossgeir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Toom the free kick. Harley Frankson hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Pearce Gough could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Lou Morrison however easily saved by the left post. After 59 played minutes Toom got a freekick which was hit by David Duggan. Barhart McJon struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Harkin Todd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rossgeir. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Rory Beckett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rossgeir's supporters rose to their feet, but Rory Beckett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harkin Todd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When David Duggan fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toom's protests and gave David Duggan a yellow card for diving instead. David Duggan kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Barhart McJon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harkin Todd was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Bardan McNamee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Duggan struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Lou Morrison didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toom. The supporters of Toom booed when Rossgeir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harley Frankson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Toom's goal looked a bit too open when Barhart McJon came free, but Harkin Todd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Barhart McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
