Fergus Ryan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bairrionn McIan came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Kilmanaheen AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bairrionn McIan couldn't finish the play. Eoin McJames could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Torran Mulvihill made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Ryan Keegan made a precise shot to the right of Kieran Robinson. Kilmanaheen AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The supporters of Kilmanaheen AFC booed when Anascaul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patty McFrancise didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torran Mulvihill was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Coileán McCollion. The crowd rose to their feet as Logan Kirby kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Torran Mulvihill. That made the score 1-2 in the 20 minute of play. A collision led to Kilmanaheen AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Bairrionn McIan hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Anascaul's goal looked a bit too open when Logan Kirby came free, but Torran Mulvihill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torran Mulvihill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Logan Kirby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fergus Ryan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kieran Robinson having to interfere. Torran Mulvihill was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Logan Kirby capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Logan Kirby really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Anascaul's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Logan Kirby scored to the left of an out of position Torran Mulvihill, making the score, 3-2. Torran Mulvihill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abbot Morrison in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ryan Keegan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Eoin McJames hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torran Mulvihill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Logan Kirby in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eoin McJames in the 61st minute of play forced Anascaul's goalkeeper Torran Mulvihill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Logan Kirby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torran Mulvihill was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Torran Mulvihill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Logan Kirby in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Anascaul's goal looked a bit too open when Logan Kirby came free, but Torran Mulvihill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eoin McJames succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-2. After a rather tough play, Kilmanaheen AFC's Logan Kirby got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abbot Morrison during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abbot Morrison kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Abbot Morrison cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Torran Mulvihill was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ryan Keegan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kieran Robinson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Eoin McJames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Torran Mulvihill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Fergus Ryan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ryan Keegan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kilmanaheen AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Anascaul had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
