A collision led to Kilmanaheen AFC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Benedict Morrison hit a great ball. Gearoid McGlenn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Kieran Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 8 in the game by Tipraite McBrand from a close distance when the talented Kieran Robinson managed to make a qualified save. Kilmanaheen AFC's players were relieved. After 9 minutes, Bairrionn McIan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kilmanaheen AFC and the Lissivigeen players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kilmanaheen AFC's Bairrionn McIan got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 11 played minutes Gearoid McGlenn rounded Kilmanaheen AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Gearoid McGlenn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Lissivigeen's goal looked a bit too open when Eoin McJames came free, but Cleary Grant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gearoid McGlenn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Kilmanaheen AFC's Kieran Robinson got control of the ball when Tipraite McBrand tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Lissivigeen's goal looked a bit too open when Bairrionn McIan came free, but Cleary Grant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eoin McJames's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cleary Grant was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The supporters of Kilmanaheen AFC booed when Lissivigeen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bren MaCollin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lissivigeen's goalkeeper Cleary Grant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cleary Grant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bairrionn McIan in the 29th minute of play. Lissivigeen's Cleary Grant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abbot Morrison in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 played minutes Kilmanaheen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bairrionn McIan. After 35 minutes of play, Kilmanaheen AFC's Logan Kirby made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cleary Grant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute, Tipraite McBrand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Lissivigeen booed when Kilmanaheen AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedict Morrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Abbot Morrison could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Cleary Grant made a huge save. In the 54th minute, Brannagh Beckett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lissivigeen's Tipraite McBrand got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 60 minutes, Tipraite McBrand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lissivigeen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tipraite McBrand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kieran Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tipraite McBrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cleary Grant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eoin McJames in the 71st minute. Kilmanaheen AFC's Bairrionn McIan suffered a concussion after 71 minutes and had to leave the field. When Peadar McWill fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lissivigeen's protests and gave Peadar McWill a yellow card for diving instead. Peadar McWill kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Coileán McCollion made a precise shot to the right of Cleary Grant. Lissivigeen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Thanks to some nice moves Abbot Morrison could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Cleary Grant however easily saved by the left post. If Tipraite McBrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gearoid McGlenn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Logan Kirby reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cleary Grant. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 92nd minute, Tipraite McBrand left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lissivigeen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. If Abbot Morrison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Kilmanaheen AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
