Cleary Grant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blathma Moran in the 47th minute of the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gearoid McGlenn to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, David Duggan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Cleary Grant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tipraite McBrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Toom's goalkeeper Harkin Todd, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tipraite McBrand might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harkin Todd. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After a defensive mix-up in Toom's zone, Tipraite McBrand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harkin Todd came out of the goal and Tipraite McBrand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
