The supporters of Rossgeir booed when Lissivigeen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brannagh Beckett didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brannagh Beckett during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes Lissivigeen got a freekick which was hit by Brannagh Beckett. The audience was convinced that Rory Beckett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cleary Grant was relentless in the 58th minute of the game.
